One insight

The term 'a dog is a man's best friend' was first used way back in 1789 by King Frederick of Prussia. He's claimed to say, “the only, absolute and best friend that a man has, in this selfish world, the only one that will not betray or deny him, is his Dog."

One nudge

How true the above statement is? Well, we don't know whether a dog would ever betray us. But science at least confirms that a the presence of a novel dog in an unfamiliar setting lowers our cortisol levels. So go out, hang out with some dogs as a great stress reliever.
