The average European household owns about 10.000 objects, the average US household 300.000 objects as UCLA research has found. Around 100 years ago, this number was at 180 objects per household.

One nudge

Put a note with the date of last usage on or inside items that you don't seem to use in a regular basis. If you find yourself not using it for half a year or year, consider taking it completely out of your life. Donate or sell it. Fewer stuff, fewer clutter, fewer stress.
