One insight
Exposure to morning sunlight profoundly affects our mood, health, and nighttime sleep. Bright morning light tells your body to suppress melatonin production - the hormone that makes you sleepy and increase cortisol production (which is good for you in healthy amounts) and serotonin - the hormones which make you alert. One nudge
Taking a walk or at least stepping outside for a few minutes directly after waking up might significantly improve your mood short term, and health long term. Add a cup of water, and some low level Physical Activity i.e. a walk around the block and you are setting your day up for success right from the get go. After all, if sunlight is essential for every plant on the planet, why wouldn't it be for us.
One quote
“What sunshine is to flowers, smiles are to humanity. These are but trifles, to be sure; but scattered along life's pathway, the good they do is inconceivable.”
